Ticket t+ pass
This type of ticket can be the “single ticket” of the Paris metro, and you can use it unlimitedly for 90 minutes from the first use.
With this ticket you can get on: Metro, RER (RATP and SNCF) only within the center of Paris (zone 1), Buses, Trams (such as the tram from Orly), Montmartre Funicular and the Noctilien night buses.
The transfers with Ticket t+ that are allowed are the following:
- Subway/Subway
- Metro/RER (within Paris)
- RER/RER (within Paris)
- Bus/Bus (including RATP and OPTILE networks)
- Bus/Tram
- Tram/Tram
To be clear, the following transfers are not allowed:
- subway/bus
- metro/tram
- RER/bus
- RER/tram
Ticket t+ ticket allows you to travel on the trains RER within Paris only . For any trip outside of Paris (Disneyland, Versailles, CDG) you must buy an Origin-Destination ticket, the price of which is calculated from station to station.

- The single ticket costs €2.10
- Block of 10 bills €16.90
- 10 tickets with reduced rate €8.45 (under 10 years)
You can also buy Ticket t+ tickets on board the buses (only) for €2 a single. This ticket does not allow transfers.
Children up to 4 years old can use the Paris Metro for free. Between 4 and 10 years old they pay half (reduced rate).
Where to buy the Ticket t+?
You can buy it at the vending machines and ticket offices in the metro, train (RER) and tram stations.
If necessary, you can buy it when you get on the bus, but in that case it costs 20 cents more and you can’t use it to make transfers.
You can also buy packages of 10 tickets at authorized reseller stands.
Mobilis Paris tickets
There is a sister ticket to Ticket t+ called Mobilis.
The Mobilis works for one day, with no travel limits. The price depends on the number of zones that your tour includes:
- 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5: €7.50
- 1-3, 2-4, 3-5: €10.00
- 1-4, 2-5: €12.40
- 1-5: €17.80
It is worth it if you will use public transport several times in a day. It is purchased at authorized stations or kiosks.
