RER Trains

You can use it in combination with the metro, as they share many stations, or even as a replacement for it, since you can sometimes travel faster and with fewer stops using the RER.

RER Lines
The trenes pueden ser normales o exprés, the latter do not stop at every station, so it is advisable to take them for long-distance journeys; pay attention to the information screens.

Places you can reach from Paris by train
In addition to getting around central Paris, you can also travel to other tourist attractions located around the city:
Disneyland Paris Parks
Using the line A of the RER you can reach the park in 40 minutes. The destination station is Marne la Vallée Chessy.
Charles de Gaulle Airport
The line B takes you from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the center of Paris in 35 minutes. It stops at Gare du Nord, St. Michel, ChĂątelet Les Halles, and Denfert-Rochereau.
Orly Airport
The line C connects the station Pont de Rungis (near the airport) with the center of Paris. You can also take the Orlyval automated train at Orly Airport to the station Antony (line B).
Versailles
Using the RER trains, the line C, from Paris to the station Versailles â Rive Gauche.

Prices and Tickets
You can use single tickets known as Ticket t+ Pass (allowing unlimited transfers on the metro for 90 minutes). The unlimited travel card for tourists called Paris Visite or the local option Navigo Pass.
Prices will vary depending on your journey. Within Zone 1, which covers central Paris, a single trip on the trains costs the same as the metro: âŹ1.90.

Using the TGV trains you can reach nearby destinations from Paris such as Mont Saint-Michel and cities like Milan, Rome and many more destinations in Italy. As well as other destinations in Switzerland, Germany, and Spain.
Using the Thalys trains, you can reach Brussels or Bruges in an hour and a half.
