Musée Rodin
The Museo Rodin is a museum in Paris opened to the public in 1919 at the initiative of the sculptor himself.
It is housed in an 18th-century mansion that was the residence of Auguste Rodin.

What to See at the Musée Rodin
Inside the building, joya de la arquitectura Rococó, you can admire pieces from the artist's magnificent body of work, both in the gardens and in the galleries; works by Camille Claudel, his muse, are also on display.
In the 3-hectare garden, home to more than 2,000 rose bushes, you will find the artist's most famous work, El Pensador.

Inside the museum you can admire another very famous work by Rodin: El Beso.
The museum, as mentioned above, was made possible by Rodin himself, who donated his works and his art collections by other artists, such as Van Gogh, Monet o Renoir, so that they could be displayed in the place where he had lived since 1908.
The collection includes 6.500 esculturas, in marble, bronze, plaster, and terracotta; 6,500 drawings in watercolor, prints, and engravings, and more than 7,000 photographs, as well as paintings, sculptures, and antique objects from the artist's personal collection.
It is uno de los museos más populares de Francia, with an average of 500,000 visitors per year, thanks to the collection, the special charm of the building, and its garden filled with magnificent sculptures.
