Albert Kahn Museum and Garden
A journey around the world
Albert Kahn Museum and Garden
NOTICE: Actualmente el parque está en renovación. Se espera su reabertura para la primera semana de abril 2022.
The Museo y jardín botánico Albert-Kahn is a cultural and natural space located about 30 minutes from the center of Paris.
Albert-Kahn was a 19th-century French businessman who loved to travel and discover diverse peoples. He assembled a collection of 72,000 photographs and 180,000 meters of silent film footage taken in many corners of the world between 1909 and 1931.
These pieces from the "Archives of the Planet" can be viewed in the museum, known in French as the Musée départemental Albert-Kahn.

World map garden
Surrounding the museum is the “Jardín mapamundi”. So named because it brings together within its grounds representations of landscapes and vegetation from various places around the world.
In this garden you get the feeling of traveling between continents within its four hectares.
This coexistence of species native to various parts of the world likely reflects Kahn's belief in the importance of cooperation and understanding among nations.
What to See in the Albert Kahn Garden
The picturesque Albert Kahn Garden is made up of:
- Dos jardines japoneses
- A jardín francés
- A jardín inglés
- Various bosques
- A pantano

The jardín japonés nos lleva directamente al país oriental. You can walk among stones, water, and traditional Japanese bridges, soaking up a sense of peace. Japanese visitors to the garden attest to how accurate and authentic its design is.
We also find jardín europeogarden styles, such as the French and English. Shrubs, trees, streams, and a pond accompany the route.
In the bosques you can observe cedars and pines, and walking among their trunks and branches you may come across the pantano.
