To get to the top of the hill where the Sacré Coeur de Paris is located , you can go on foot through the 200 steps that take you up to the cathedral, or you can take the Montmartre Funicular and reach the top in a minute with Thirty seconds.
It is part of the Paris transport network.
This beautiful, automatic function railway was inaugurated in 1900 and was completely rebuilt in 1935 and later in 1991.
It is located in the neighborhood of Paris called Montmartre, a Parisian area that you cannot miss where, in addition to the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur or the Sacred Heart, you can visit the Moulin Rouge, the Place du Tertre square , where you can see painters drawing scenes from the square and take the route of the Amélie Route recommended for fans of this cult film.
Prices of the Montmartre Funicular
The same price as a subway ticket. That is, you will need a T+ Ticket whose individual price is €1.90.
You can also get on using your Paris Visite or Navigo pass.
