Fondation Louis Vuitton
The Fundación Louis Vuitton de París is a museum dedicated to contemporary art, housed in a spectacular building within the Bois de Boulogne, one of the largest parks in Paris.
The museum is a project of the LVMH group (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), a French multinational conglomerate that owns 76 renowned brands worldwide, formed after the merger of the Louis Vuitton fashion house and Moët Hennessy (Moët & Chandon + Hennessy).

What to See at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris
The Colección de la Fundación Louis Vuitton collection comprises works owned by the LVMH group and pieces from the private collection of businessman Bernard Arnault, who wanted to give Paris an exceptional space for art and culture.
It is organized around four directions: Contemplative, Pop, Expressionist, and Music/Sound.
You can see works by contemporary artists such as Gerhard Richter, Bertrand Lavier, Christian Boltanski, Olafur Eliasson, Thomas Schütte, Pierre Huyghe, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gilbert & George, and Jeff Koons.
Both the building and the quality of its exhibitions make it absolutely worth a visit.
Architecture of the Fondation Louis Vuitton Museum in Paris
The glass building, resembling a sailing ship, covers 12,000 m² spread over two floors, an auditorium, and eleven galleries. It was designed by architect Frank Gehry, the renowned Canadian architect and Pritzker Prize winner, known for works such as the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Golden Fish at the Barcelona Olympic Port.

Where is the Louis Vuitton Foundation
As mentioned above, the foundation is located in the Bois de Boulogne, a vast park two and a half times larger than Central Park in New York and 3.3 times larger than Hyde Park in London, but smaller than Casa de Campo in Madrid.
This area belongs to the 16th arrondissement of Paris, better known as Passy.
