Jardín Des Halles
The Jardin des Halles, renamed Jardín Nelson Mandela, is a green space in the heart of central Paris, perfect for resting and relaxing.
It is located in the Les Halles neighborhood, between the Louvre Museum and the Centre Pompidou.

This urban garden was originally designed by architect Louis Arretche, built on the site of a former fruit and vegetable market.
What to See at the Jardin Des Halles
It is an ideal place to sit and take a break during your tour of Paris, with views of the Bourse du Commerce and the Church of Saint-Eustache.
Next to the garden you can admire the famous sculpture known as L'Écoute (Henri de Miller, 1986).

If you are visiting Paris with kids the Jardin Des Halles, or Jardin Nelson Mandela, has one of the most beautiful playgrounds in central Paris.
There are also sports courts and space for running or skating.
Forum des Halles Shopping Center
If you feel like going shopping you can head into the Centro Comercial Forum des Halles, a huge centro comercial subterráneo built beneath the garden.
