Bois de Vincennes
The Bosque de Vincennes, or Bois de Vincennes, is the largest green space among the hundreds of parks and gardens in Paris, covering nearly mil hectáreas in area.
Located to the east of the city, in the XIIe arrondissement, it was originally the área de caza privada de los reyes, and today features several structures of various kinds that make for a wonderful day out.

Château de Vincennes
Originally built as a hunting lodge for Louis VII, this French castle dating from the 14th and 16th centuries has many stories to tell, including royal births, royal weddings, and even the construction of a Sainte-Chapelle de Vincennes, where relics of the Passion of Christ were kept while space was being prepared at the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris.

The castle is located next to the park, at the Château de Vincennesmetro exit. A single ticket costs €9.50 and you can buy it here: Château de Vincennes Ticket (free with the Paris Pass card)

Zoo, lakes, temples and much more
Among the other attractions it houses are the Fuerte de Gravelle, the Paris Zoo, two gardens: one tropical and one with flowers, a templo budista, un teatro, un velódromo y un hipódromo, as well as the cuatro lagos, Daumesnil, Gravelle, Minimes, and Saint-Mandé.
If you are in Paris with Kids, the place has muchas actividades para familias, as well as the play areas around the park: a cycling and skating track, boat rides, a puppet theater, and even a merry-go-round (carousel).
