Parc de la Villette
The Parque de la Villette is one of the most popular parks and gardens in Paris.
Its creators define it as "Un singular parque urbano para la cultura«.
It is located in the northeast of the city, in the arrondissement or Arrondissement XIX and has several attractions to fill an entire day.

It covers 55 hectares, where green spaces blend with modern architecture buildings, playgrounds and activity areas for children and adults, as well as cultural spaces and theaters.
What to See at Parc de la Villette
The park is divided in the middle by the Canal de l’Ourcq and features the following areas:
- The Ciudad de las Ciencias y la Industria (which includes the Cité des Enfants o Cité des Enfants).
- The Ciudad de la Música
- The Geóde. A dome where IMAX films are projected on a 1,000 m screen2.
- The Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Música y Danza.
- The Grande Halle de La Villette, a former market, now a library.
- The Cabaret Sauvage. Concert hall.
- Theaters. The París-Villette and the Zénith.
- Themed gardens and other attractions ranging from an equestrian center to the submarine Argonauta.
