Trocadero

Trocadero is one of the most elegant and exclusive neighborhoods in Paris. Conservative, with houses with large windows and attractive facades that show the rich heritage of the area.

It is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, known as Passy.

What to see in Trocadero

Trocadero and its Passy district are an area of small parks, avenues lined with large trees, Haussmann-style buildings, elegant shops and embassies from various countries.

The Trocadero Gardens , located on the other side of the Seine where the Eiffel Tower is located (you can walk a few meters across the Pont d’Iéna bridge) are a must for tourists; decorated with ponds, sculptures and fountains, they are beautifully illuminated at dusk.

These English-style gardens are made up of chestnut, beech and lime trees and are an ideal place to take a break with views while visiting the city.

Above the gardens is the Plaza del Trocadero , where crowds of tourists gather and where locals gather to skate and have fun. From here you can enjoy the best view of the Eiffel Tower , the best point for your memorable trip photography.

In the Plaza del Trocadero is the Palais de Chaillot , built for the Universal Exposition of 1937. In its facilities you will find the Museum of the Navy, the Museum of Man and the Museum of Architecture.

Also next to the Trocadero Square is the Aquarium of Paris , a popular place for families with children that is included in the savings pass called the Paris Pass.

Due to its location and tranquility, this elegant neighborhood of Paris is a good option if you want to stay a few steps from the most important areas but at the same time with more security and silence.
