In the Le Marais neighborhood of Paris, there is a world famous shawarma restaurant, its name: L’As du Fallafel.
In this picturesque district of Paris that is home to the gay scene, fashion shops and the Jewish community at the same time , you can find it at number 34 rue des Rosiers to this Israeli fast food restaurant.
It is very visited and sometimes you have to wait a bit, especially in the summer, but it is worth it.
You can eat standing up at the front of the establishment or you can ask for a table inside. The atmosphere is simple, nothing ambitious, and the service is very attentive and friendly.
The house specialty is falafel, crispy and freshly made , and the shawarmas filled with falafel or the meat of your choice, they also have hummus, roasted aubergines, cabbage, radish, tomato, cucumber… delicious!
To drink you can ask for the house lemonade.
